On behalf of the Board of Directors of The Hunger Coalition of the Lowcountry and Backpack Buddies of Hilton Head, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude for your donation. We are grateful for your financial contribution and your support of our endeavors to appease childhood hunger in our community. In ten years, the Backpack Buddies program of Hilton Head has gone from serving 50 elementary children to, this year, providing weekend meals for more than 300 needy youngsters. We now also provide food for children in our middle and high school as well as for after school and summer school programs. We know that there are still more children who could benefit from our services and, with continued support, we look forward to expanding our program in the years to come.
It is the financial support of local organizations, religious institutions, and individuals that encourages us to continue to help those who desperately need our services.
